Chatty is the animal mascot of Free Realms. Chatty is a flying squirrel, and represents FR's core idea: Do what you want to do, and be what you want to be. Although Chatty is part of the FR franchise, he is only seen in FR commercials and other marketing at this time.
NOTE: In April, 2010, SOE announced that it is changing the spelling of Chatdy's name to Chatty. The reason given was that too many people were having difficulty with the original spelling. According to Sony, changing the name so it is now spelled like it sounds will make it easier on everyone, especially the game's target demographic.
